Its funny everything we're watching at the moment seems to be featuring grisly and perilous finger stuck in the doors scenarios and in the case of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - fingers getting chopped off in a door, resewn on, pulled off again, stuck in ice and finally eaten by a dog. So I was very relieved when Natasha got the all clear from hospital last week. Especially after the day prior to her appointment - she had managed to stick it in the toilet hinge and then drop the seat on it. There was much screaming.
However Tom is now off school with a temperature and a serious case of poorlyitis. We always know when he is genuinely ill because he has his "Finding Nemo nightmares." He's watched Pirates of the Carribean, Harry Potter and Doctor Who - but as soon as he gets a temperature he starts hallucinating that Nemo is swimming round his lampshade. He is a very odd little boy. Anyway off to read him chapter 4 of the Philosophers Stone. Needed a break before my voice breaks - all he has wanted this morning is for me to read and sing to him. I think it might turn into a long day.
