10:30 am - One day to go... Our bunny has some wierd issues. Already this morning he has been for a drive in the kids big plasic bubble car. He had his paws on the steering wheel and a slightly manic gleam in his eyes - which I can only guess he has learned from me. Perhaps he's knocking other bunnies off their mini motos. Thats what I'd do if I had a car and was a rabbit - and was clearly a deranged sociopath.
Anyway he drove (in his head ofcourse - hes a rabbit and its a big toy car) to the trampoline - god knows what he thinks that is and he is curently bouncing on it. Which really does beg the question why does a bunny need a trampoline for bouncing? Thats supposed to be what bunnies do best.
Still he's much more amusing than the cubs who are still cuddled up fast asleep. I think they have skipped toddlerhood and gone straight to being teenagers. I mean its half past ten - and even I am up. Its all their late night partying with their cousin last night. I even caught junior smooching his cousin. How much is that a sign that a good night was had by all. Apart from possibly his cousin who has probably woken up going "Oh no, tell me I didn't... " before throwing up all over her mum. Incidently weird cousiness aside - junior has good taste, she has turned into a a total babe. For a 15 month old.
Okay just went up and they were both sat up in bed talking. According to junior, his sister said "clownfish". Quite impressive given that she is 16 months old. But not as impressive as the fact she used to fly when we went out of the room. Ofcourse this was when she was a baby. Clearly it was like the startle reflex babies have when they are newborn and they lose the need to fly around the living room when only their big brothers are watching. Sucks a bit more losing that. I mean the startle reflex - hey if you drop me - I put my hands in the air. Compared with newborn flying reflex - drop me and I circle round the room and fly over your head. In fact I'm that good at doing it - I think I'll do it just to tease you and because mummy and daddy will think they need to take you to a psychiatrist.
Anyway, one day to go. Wahey. The Rakshasas are off on their holidays. On their first family holiday (apart from the one with my mum that ended up with Tom in the local a& e and having to wear a bag on his hand for weeks- but we try to pretend that holiday never happenend). Actually first holiday since our honeymoon 5 years ago in Verona - watching some opera - visiting local artists, eating some donkey. Current Location: under the stairs Current Mood: excited
